Srinagar, Pahalgam and Sonamarg Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Srinagar

Upon arrival, meet our representative and take a transfer to a hotel. Spend the day at leisure on boulevard road which is one of the most famous roads in Srinagar for tourists and is situated around the Dal lake surrounded by Zabarwan mountain ranges. Also enjoy 1hr shikara ride. Overnight stay in Houseboat.

Day 2

Srinagar – Gulmarg (56 kms /2:00 hours approximately)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. On arrival check in the Hotel. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. one can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis) One can also hire a union vehicle to visit Drung waterfall and Botapatri. Day 3

Gulmarg – Pahalgam (180 kms /4 hours approximately)

After Breakfast drive to Pahalgam “Valley of Shepherds”. On arrival check in at the Hotel in Pahalgam enjoy the nature and admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings. Enjoying your full day in the natural beauty makes it a popular hill station of India. You can go trekking along the mountainous path and explore the beauty on the way. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 4

Pahalgam

After Breakfast one can also enjoy a pony ride to nearby places like Chandanwadi (on a direct hire basis) or if you are an avid nature lover you may take pleasure in a peaceful walk along the River Lidder. Day 5

Pahalgam - Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After Breakfast drive back to Srinagar and enjoy the site scene of the famous Mughal Gardens-Cheshma Shahi “Royal Spring”, Shalimar “Garden of Love” Nishat Garden “Garden of Pleasure”, Shankaracharya Temple. On return visit a local Handicrafts Showroom for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewelry ornaments. Overnight stay in Hotel

Day 6

Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (86 kms / 2:30 hours approximately)

After breakfast drive to Sonmarg “The meadow of gold. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is at a distance of 84 Kms from Srinagar is also called as “The meadow of gold”. Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in the Hotel

Day 7

Srinagar - DoodhPathri - Srinagar (42 kms / 2:00 hours approximately)

After Breakfast drive to DoodhPathri “Valley of Milk” is a tourist destination and hill station in the Kashmir, it lies in a bowl shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. It is located in Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir situated at an altitude of 8,957 ft. from sea level. The water flowing through the meadows looks like milk from a distance and remains very cold throughout the year. The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining stream running over the large stones further increase its beauty. DoodhPathri is sloping grassy landscapes with a diversity of multicolored flowers up to Chang. The famous Tosamaidan lies in the west of DoodhPathri. Drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Hotel

Day 8

Srinagar - Onward destination.

After breakfast enjoy the morning in Srinagar and get ready for transfer to the Srinagar airport to board your scheduled flight for onward destination. Tour ends...
